I had the privilege of spearheading the design of the manifesto kit for J Dilla, tailored for investors, while also creating captivating visuals for the documentary's marketing campaign. This involved seamlessly merging design with strategic storytelling to ensure maximum impact.
James Dewitt Yancey, renowned as J Dilla or Jay Dee, was a revered American rap producer who emerged during the mid-1990s underground hip-hop scene in Detroit, Michigan.
This endeavor was undertaken in collaboration with Scenario Media, an award-winning, full-service film, television, and podcast production company based in Toronto, Canada.
